Bambu Lab S1 Scanner and Two New AMS Models Surface in FCC Filings

Recent FCC records for the H3C 3D printer and X2D Pro have already fueled speculation about Bambu Lab's next releases. Three more devices have since appeared in the database: an S1 3D scanner and two Automatic Material System models, the AMS 3H and AMS 3P. They could arrive in the coming months, but Bambu Lab has not announced them or given any launch dates.

The S1's public label identifies it as a 3D Scanner. An accompanying drawing shows where the label would sit on a body with a hand grip, suggesting a handheld scanner. It is a label-location drawing rather than a product photo, and the filing offers no details about the scanning technology, accuracy or software.

The other two filings name the AMS 3H and AMS 3P. Their labels spell out “Automatic Material System 3H” and “Automatic Material System 3P.” A label-location drawing shows the 3H's enclosure, while the 3P drawing shows an underside panel. Neither filing reveals how many spools the units will hold, whether they can dry filament or which printers they will support.

Bambu Lab already sells the AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT, both with filament-drying capability. It remains unclear where the 3H and 3P would sit alongside those models or which printers they might support. The letters in their names do not establish compatibility with any particular printer series.

Only the labels and limited drawings are public. Bambu Lab has not released full product photos, specifications or launch dates for the S1, AMS 3H or AMS 3P.
